He serves families, business professionals, and other healthcare providers with thorough attention to detail and a patient-first focus. Dr. Winter completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Emory University in 1984 and his general practice residency in 1985. He subsequently served as a full-time faculty member at the Emory School of Dentistry, providing leadership and key skills in various roles, including Assistant Professor of the General Practice program. In 1992, he moved from academia to private practice, opening his dental office in downtown Decatur where he has remained since, practicing general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry. Dr. Winter enjoys spending time with his wife, Holly and they are the proud parents of one child.
